It was the same year when the National Shoppers' Choice award giving body, considered Edd Sy, as the Number 1 Wedding Couturier for Metro Manila for his excellence in product quality, company reputation, brand recognition and consumer services. After celebrating its 10th year anniversary last June 4, 2006 which was held at the Philippine Trade Training Center, a gala show was showcased and was even aired on national television at IBC 13. Another milestone was added when Edd Sy was conferred by the Philippine Marketing Excellence Awards as the Most Outstanding Gown Designer for undertaking "best marketing practices" leading towards market dominance, goodwill, high level costumer confidence and market acceptability.

Edd Sy has staged numerous fashion shows, actually a total of 10 solo shows and a thousand and one pictorials which landed in your favorite newspaper and magazines. A much preferred designer by wedding organizers, wedding suppliers and a lot of movie and television stars, just to name a few , Nadine Samonte, Rita Avila, Angel Locsin, Julia Clarete, Ryza Cenon, Cristine Reyes, Sandara Parks ,Angelica dela Cruz, Say Alonzo, Toni Gonzaga, etc and the latest, super heartthrob, Sam Milby.
